Dr. Tamar Macharadze, MD, is an associate professor at Davit Tvildiani Medical University, Tbilisi, Georgia and a guest scientist at Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology in Magdeburg, Germany. She is as well an elected member of the Center for Behavioral Brain Sciences; Magdeburg, Germany. She is a PI of a grant from Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Her project is focused on preoperative frailty and postoperative neurocognitive disorders in geriatric patients.
